Praise the Lord for an amazing day of spiritual breakthroughs!!! We asked you to pray for these leaders to deal with issues where they needed to forgive, and to be willing to even forgive people who have harmed them physically. Unfortunately, physical violence is very common here. God answered our prayers and broke down barriers. Many of the young men and women shared personal information they had never shared and allowed us to pray with them to be able to forgive. These are miracles of life change that are happening in the short time we are together. PTL!! One of our counselors has had two extended counseling sessions with a young lady who was considering suicide and hopeless. The young lady already has a renewed countenance as she is experiencing the Lord through solid Christian counseling.
Our session last night was a special message about a Father’s amazing love for each of His children. At the end of the message, we invited any who desired a hug to come forward and receive a hug from one of our team members. In their context here, many of these young adults would rarely, if ever, receive hugs from their family. As we hugged each young man or woman as they came forward, we prayed a father’s prayer over each. Many were very emotional as they experienced the love of a God in a personal and meaningful way. Ask the Lord to plant this reminder of His personal love for them deep into their hearts. We can only imagine what the Lord will do as these leaders return home to share the love of God in fresh ways with thousands of teenagers across South Africa! Keep praying for more life change here for these precious young leaders!!
